Redland Dance
Over 30 Years Artistic Excellence
Our experienced teachers provide a safe and enriching learning environment for everyone.
Open to students from Year 5 at school, our Stretch & Limber classes help students achieve greater flexibility and develop safe stretching practices. This program is a must for anyone looking to improve their flexibility and build a deeper understanding of the human body.
These classes utilise a highly effective program developed by the revered classical teacher, Tanya Pearson. The program has been designed to help students increase their flexibility and mobility safely, using a range of stretching techniques and exercises that target different muscle groups.
Stretch & Limber classes are open to all students, regardless of their level of experience or ability. We believe that everyone can benefit from them and achieve greater flexibility with consistent practice and guidance.
Our Stretch & Limber classes are part of our 3D Extension Program, which is designed to help students improve their overall dance technique, including extension, flexibility, and strength. The program is suitable for students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced dancers.

What should I wear to class?
For trial classes we encourage students to wear something comfortable and safe to move in e.g., leggings and a t-shirt. We suggest bare feet as this helps maintain the cleanliness of the studio and reduces the risk of injury, apart from tap dance, where a hard-soled shoe should be worn.
A uniform is worn for all classes for school age children so that our dancers: feel the part, dance safely and show respect for themselves and those around them.
Are class sizes limited at Redland Dance?
Absolutely! Our class sizes are limited, creating a safe space in which to learn and receive individual attention. Class limits vary depending on dance genre and the age of students.
What is the process for enrolling in classes?
After your trial class, we’ll get in touch to make sure you are happy to continue, then we’ll take care of the paperwork. All you have to do is purchase any necessary uniform and enjoy the class!
